Welcome to Biko! We're thrilled to have you join our community of eco-conscious riders. Below, you'll find everything you need to get started, enjoy your ride, and stay safe.

 

Getting Started:

How do I sign up for Biko?
Getting started is easy! Download the Biko app from the [App Store] or [Google Play]. Open the app, follow the on-screen prompts, and you'll be riding in no time.

What payment methods do you accept?
Biko accepts all major credit and debit cards for a seamless payment experience.

How do I find a bike or scooter?
Open the Biko app to view available vehicles on the map. You can even filter by bike or scooter type to find exactly what you need.

 

Riding a Biko:

How do I unlock a Biko bike or scooter?
Once you've located a vehicle, tap on it in the app. Follow the on-screen instructions to unlock it by scanning the QR code on the vehicle.

How long can I ride for?
Ride as long as you like! Just be sure to end your ride in one of our designated parking zones to avoid extra charges.

Do I need a helmet?

Your safety is our priority. While helmets are strongly recommended, be sure to check local laws as helmet use may be required.

What are the traffic rules for bikes and scooters?
Please obey all traffic laws, including speed limits, riding with the flow of traffic, and using designated bike lanes when available. Check the app for more information on local regulations.

Paying for Biko Rides:

How much does it cost to ride a Biko?
Our pricing is transparent and affordable. You’ll see the start rate and per-minute rate in the app before beginning your ride, so there are no surprises.

How do I end my Biko ride?
Simply find a designated parking zone using the app, park your bike or scooter, and end your ride in the app to stop the charges.

What if something goes wrong with my trip?
We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. While Biko doesn't refund amounts directly back to your account, we do credit your wallet in the app after you contact our support team as outlined on our website.

 

Biko Safety:

How do I report a problem with a Biko vehicle?
Encounter an issue? No problem! Report it directly through the app so we can address it right away.

What should I do if I get in an accident?
1. Stop immediately and check for injuries. If needed, call for medical help.
2. Report the accident to Biko through the app with details including location and any other vehicles involved.
3. Exchange information with other parties if there’s property damage, including names and contact details.
